Pediatric EKG/Exercise/stress test

MCG Children’s Medical Center offers the latest technology in non-invasive pediatric cardiology, including EKG and exercise/stress testing.

An electrocardiogram or EKG is a test that shows the electrical activity (rhythm) of the heart. This tells a doctor if the heart is beating correctly. An exercise/stress test is a valuable tool to help doctors assess a child’s cardiopulmonary system.

MCG Children’s Medical Center is the region’s only center with pediatric cardiologists and staff specially trained to perform these tests for children.
