Children's Miracle Network Celebration Broadcast  

The local Chldren's Miracle Network Celebration Broadcast, which aired on NBC Augusta on June 2 and 3, celebrated a total of $937,147 in the past year to benefit programs and services at MCG Children's Medical Center. During the weekend alone this year, pledges and donations totaled $26,468.

NBC-Augusta’s personalities joined Marion White Linder in hosting this year’s broadcast, which featured sponsor celebrations and miracle stories from the MCG Children’s Medical Center.

MCG Children's Medical Center is a not-for-profit organization and depends on community support to provide patient care services to children and families. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of specialized equipment for children such as the Giraffe Bed, a universal bed for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and will also support programs such as the Child Life Department, who help make a child's stay in the hospital a little more like home.

MCG Children's Medical Center has been a beneficiary of CMN since 1986.
